Mexican American wars Machete with carved leather scabbard, scabbard needs a bit of dressing as its a bit dry & the end has curled up a bit as pics show, i will dress it & i think it will flatten out , blade has stamp with a crest above it, polished horn handle (showing considerable wear ) the blade will clean upquite a bit if so desired, quite a nice old piece
